NATALIA RAGUSEO — COLORIST

Colour is where my artistic training meets cinema. Through color correction and color grading, I work on the light, the nuances and the atmosphere of images to shape the visual identity of every project.

MY JOURNEY

My visual research grew out of studying oil painting, the classical masters and composition. That experience still guides the way I look at images and work on the relationship between colour, light and emotion.

I started out as a freelancer, producing and post-producing commercials and music videos. I then joined a post-production studio, where I specialised in color correction and color grading, working on films, commercials and documentaries.

Among the most significant projects of my career is The Damned — I dannati by Roberto Minervini, which I graded. This work took me to the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, where I was invited to attend the awards ceremony, and it made room for a painterly approach to colour close to my artistic sensibility.

I also graded Red Rocks — Les Roches Rouges by Bruno Dumont, selected for the Quinzaine des Cinéastes at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.

HOW I WORK

I work with directors and cinematographers to build a look that is true to their vision and to the story. I want to understand what a scene needs to convey and find a way to express it through the images, keeping continuity and balance throughout the project.

I work in DaVinci Resolve and, alongside my color correction and color grading skills, I have experience in VFX coordination. This lets me talk with every role in post-production, paying attention to both creative and technical needs.

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR PROJECT

I am available for new collaborations in film, advertising, documentaries and music videos. If you have a project in the works, I would love to hear your vision.
